Barbara Barreno-Paschall

Barbara Barreno-Paschall is First Vice President of HPKCC and has served in this role since October 2020. She has been a Board member since 2018 and is also a member of the Communications Committee. Barbara is an attorney who currently serves as a Commissioner with the State of Illinois Human Rights Commission following her appointment by Governor JB Pritzker in 2019. Barbara is also a Community Representative on the Kenwood Academy High School Local School Council and a member of the Hyde Park Community Players. Barbara is a graduate of Harvard College, Vanderbilt Law School, and the University of Chicago Harris School of Public Policy. She lives in Hyde Park with her husband and daughter.
