July 21, Saturday, 10 am. Workday and plant ID in the SS Nature Sanctuary.
July 26, Thursday, 6:30-8:30 p.m. Unity 4 Community, with Chicago Police. Starring Maggie Brown. With guests from Chicago Police Department and others performing spoken word, poetry, and music. Free.
August 4, Saturday, 10 am. Summer Learning in the SS Nature Sanctuary- Plant and Animal Adaptation.
August 26, Sunday, 4 pm. MCA fundraising gala concert. $35, 15. Featuring Dee Alexander!
October 28, Sunday, 4 pm? South Shore Opera Company of Chicago annual ticketed gala. Premiere of the complete 3-part opera, with new orchestration, Steven A. Allen's "Lyrics of Sunshine and Shadows" based on the life and loves of Paul Dunbar and Ruth Moore.
