Yes! There will be a Hyde Park Co-op Used Book Sale this fall!

The annual Hyde Park Co-op Used Book Sale, a Columbus Day weekend tradition in Hyde Park, will take place on October 6, 7, and 8 at the HydePark Co-op Shopping Center, 55th and Lake Park. Shopping hours are from 9 am to 6 pm daily.

There are two ways you can help make this year's sale a big success. Give us your books!
Is it time for you to clean out your bookshelves? Do you have books you'd like to donate? The Book Sale generally offers between 20,000 and 30,000 volumes for sale, all donated by your neighbors. Please take your donations to the lower level of the Hyde Park Co-op, 55th and Lake Park. Two large cartons are just waiting outside the lower level video room for your books.

If you have books to donate and can't get them to the Co-op yourself, please call Jane Comiskey at 773 324-0750 to arrange pickup.

Volunteer on the day of the sale! Come and work with other people who love the Book Sale. Please call Jane Comiskey at 773 324-0750, if you'd like to help.

The HydePark-Kenwood Community Conference will manage the sale. The profits wil support the activities of the Conference, a community organization dedicated to maintaining and enhancing an attractive, secure, diverse, and caring community through a variety of public programs and initiatives.

Note: As a 501(c)3, the Conference provides tax deduct ability for contributions to the book sale. Forms will be in the Video Room at the Co-op (when the sale organizers are there) or should be in the Co-op Business Office.
